Terms & Conditions - the basics

1. Eligibility

Our Services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. By using this Site, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you may only use the Services with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Nature of Services

Our online counselling services are provided by qualified professionals and are designed to support mental well-being. However:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid charges. If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged the full session fee.

  • No-Show Policy: If you fail to attend your scheduled session without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged.

  • Refunds will be provided only under exceptional circumstances (e.g., website technical difficulties preventing the session) and are subject to our Refund Policy.

6. Session Cancellation Policies

  • Client-Initiated Cancellations/Rescheduling: If you wish to cancel or reschedule your session, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a charge for the full session.

  • Therapist-Initiated Cancellations: If we need to cancel or reschedule your session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness or emergency), we will notify you as soon as possible. In such cases, you may reschedule the session at no additional cost or receive a full refund.

  • Late Arrivals: If you are more than 10 minutes late for a session, the session may be shortened or rescheduled at the discretion of the therapist.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site (text, images, video, audio, software) is the property of Support for You Counselling and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our Site or Services.

  • You use the Site and Services at your own risk.

9. No Emergency or Medical Services

Our counsellors are not medical doctors. If you require immediate assistance or are in danger, please contact:
